The Kalash

The Kalash indigenous people are mainly found in Northern Pakistan. They speak Kalasha, and most also speak Urdu as a second language. Women wear their traditional clothing, but the men generally wear the Pakistani shalwar kameez. The Kalash practice their own traditional religion which seems to have roots in Hinduism. It is often claimed that they are the descendants of Alexander the Great.
